When was the last time you behaved out of character?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for August 21, 2008:
Venturing out across the desert of life fear means facing something to startle my character everyday.
The path is always across the dessert out of the garden of Eden, but always toward a light which is more conscious than the bliss of the Garden and so while not without pain, always beckoning toward Higher Ground and Higher Heaven
The Kingdom is all around.
And really, I am not certain if it is desert or dessert
But lemon pie sure makes fear easier to bear, so perhpas it is both
