What are you experiencing right now?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for March 26, 2009:

Morning confusion. I set the alarm for 6:01 and must have hit the hour button alongside setting the alarm because I now discover from the computer that it is 5:15 and CBC is playing national Australian radio.  I knew it played Radio Holland after midnight but did not know Canadian airwaves roved about all night.  ...ooo now it is playing Radio Romania International.
Two mornings ago I was nestled deep in sleep when at 8:15 my son answered the phone to find I was supposed to be at work at 8:00.

Maybe I have Vicarious Jetlag on behalf of my 14 year old who just got back from Japan 36 hrs ago and was zombiod all day yesterday
Not having traveled in a long time, I have been jealous of his trip and this must be my unique way of experiencing it with him.  :)

haha - my radio?  It statics as I move about the room and barely picks up local stations with precision  :)
Rather, ask why Canada can't play national radio 24hrs and has to pilfer international stations overnight.

Mind you, even though the CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation) airs international programs for bugetary reasons, I have to admit I enjoy hearing  Dutch radio after midnight.

Not to mention the POINT of my blog is not radio but the fact I can't figure out mornings this week.  Currently, I am on my 3rd cup of coffee and preparing an exam for 8am.  I have two good cases for the residents today:  an ethylene glycol poisoning and a pseudotumour cerebri.

What kind of radio do you have?

Ah, that brings back memories …  of last summer, driving my eldest to work at 5:00 a.m. with “Deutsche Welle Radio” playing on CBC One.  It was a kinda other-worldly feeling - helped no doubt by sleep deprivation, and a rampant need for something (anything!) caffeinated.

My cousin works in Japan.  Teaching English as a Second Language.  He took a trip as a teenager, and when he was old enough, he went over.  Sounds like a neat place.
